Convergence Before Commitment
A transformer thinks in sequence — one token, then the next. A hypothetical “Diffusion of Thought” architecture would think in parallel — many hypotheses live simultaneously, converging to a single committed output. In that model, IBA’s authorization gate would sit at the convergence point, checking the candidate output against a signed certificate before it commits.
This illustrates where a gate would sit in a hypothetical parallel-reasoning architecture. “Diffusion of Thought” as described here is conceptual — it isn’t a claim that this specific architecture has been built.
